TSCC trial accounts provide 250 SUs for a 90-day experimental period. Email the Participant Contact to inquire about obtaining a TSCC Trial Account.
Allocations on TSCC are handled by the Participant Contact. Please send email to find out how to join. Once you have an allocation on TSCC, you will need a user account on the system to allow access and run jobs.
User accounts for UCSD personnel are synchronized with the UCSD Active Directory (AD) service. If you have a UCSD AD account, you will use that username and password to authenticate to a TSCC login node. If you do not have a UCSD AD account, a TSCC login account (not an AD account) will be created for you during the setup process.
Note that SDSC AD accounts are not the same as UCSD AD accounts. These two systems are not synchronized, even if the usernames are the same by coincidence. Authentication via SDSC AD is not supported on TSCC, so be sure to log in with your UCSD AD account (or your TSCC account, if provided).
If you need to reset your UCSD AD password, you may do so at the Blink Change Password page.
Local ssh keys are created on TSCC to facilitate access to non-login nodes in support of parallel job execution. These keys are not used to access the system from outside.
For non-UCSD users, new login accounts will be set up on TSCC. Users will work with TSCC and the system administrators to have these accounts created. Access will require an external ssh keypair with passphrase authentication, and the public key will be installed in the user's home directory on the TSCC login nodes. Please email the Participant Contact for assistance in this process.
