*Please Note About Meals: Conference hotel (Sheraton) does not include breakfast in their daily rate, but we will be providing a complete breakfast each day! What to Bring

The climate along the coast can be breezy and cool even on sunny days. We suggest light, layered clothing options for outdoor wear as well as air-conditioned conference rooms. Rain is not expected, however, it is not unusual for us to have a heavy marine layer.

We encourage you to bring your laptop computers or tablets!

When making your reservation, mention that you are with the group "UC Research Facilitators Meeting" in order to get the discounted rate of $159. This rate will only be available to our group through 4/2/18. 

A couple of things to note about your stay at the Sheraton:

  • A valid credit card and ID will be needed at check-in for incidentals (or $50 per day cash deposit)
  • Parking at the hotel is $20 per day 
  • There is an early checkout fee of $75 (if you check out prior to the reserved checkout date). To avoid this fee, notify staff upon check-in of any change in planned length of stay.
